As you can tell, I’m not very good at remembering to update the blog! Hopefully, with a little bit of practice, I’ll get accustomed to posting each week. Here’s a little bit of “personal update” on what’s been going on around here lately.

My sister, Anna, and I were both able to experience a little bit of film work earlier this month as extras in the HBO series, John Adams. The mini-series is to be shown next spring. While I only filmed one day, Anna was called in for four different days and got to be a stand-in as well as background.

Our state homeschool convention is almost here! Working both at the HEAV office and as a coordinator for the convention has made life very busy lately. If you’re going to be there, I’d love to meet you!

I’ve been working on creating a small garden area near our woodline in the back yard. As a result, Anna and I are both covered in poison ivy! We’d appreciate your prayers for quick healing and relief.
