My son is writing a college paper on homeschooling and that is why I am on this blog. We have been talking about the spelling for days. I decided that the word is homeschool because it is like the word homesick and others. His exposition professor is really picky and I noticed that she used home school when she emailed him back about his subject. I will let you know what she says when he turns in his paper, "Why Do Parents Choose to homeschool their Children?" By the way, KEEP UP THE GOOD PARENTING=HOMESCHOOLING. He is a Sophomore in Pre-med with a 4.0 and got a full scholarship. He was also homeschooled!! Homeschooling is great!!

I've made this same observation. It can be pouring rain, or 23 degrees, and she still says, "Thank for this pretty day." :)

Well, because you asked, I'm thankful for a friend (although I only know her through her blog) who gave me a great Bible passage to read (Psalms 77) to get me out of my funk because now I feel hopeful again, though I know time and prayer will ultimately be the road to recovery.

I really like this idea of the 27 Days of Thanksgiving! I wanted to let you know that I really appreciated this thank you note idea. My birthday was a few days ago and I wrote thank you notes to people I don't usually write them to (my parents, grandparents, and uncle). I started out with a simple thank you for the gift. But then the note grew into something more, where I told them how much I appreciated them.

I wish I had seen your blog at the beginning of the month so I could have done the 27 days. Oh well. Let me know if you find something for Christmas.

Even in these trouble times we could give thanks to the Lord for every wonderful thing that happen to us. For example we can give thanks to God for those wonderful promises that he have for all of us. 9/12 Wall Street, as we knew it died. (Newsweek Sept. 29, 2008. But if we go to the Scripture in Deut. 28:9-12, there is a wonderful word of hope. www.samrosemin.wordpress.com

Hi Rebekah, I hope you don't mind, but I mentioned you in my blog today. I am really enjoying the 27 Days of Thansgiving idea, and I wanted to give credit where it was due. Thank you!

Hi,
Being thankful makes for a happy heart and if you have a happy spirit being thankful becomes easy. I like the idea of writing something you're thankful for each day. We need those reminders to help us keep a happy spirit.
